The event which was hosted by thebusinessdesk.com was held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds and was the culmination of a judging process which included judges coming to the Adventoris offices and a further pitch to the judges.

SwiftCloud have officially launched its new offices which will involve a total investment of £1 million over the next five years.
We have moved from the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre in Huddersfield to Folly Hall Mills at Folly Hall.
The move to the new office space has coincided with a hat-trick of major client wins which has seen fresh produce giant Dole, commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu Truck UK and supermarket staple Tilda Rice coming on board.
SwiftCloud, has experienced impressive growth over the last 12 months, achieving just under £2.5m in turnover, a 28% increase year-on-year and its fourth year of profitable growth.
We now have a 50-strong team and boasts 218 clients, with major brands including Pepsi Co, Pukka Pads and AG BARR.
We have also significantly grown its channel partner network this year, with 33 resellers and referrers now on board.
The new premises include the creation of a suite of executive offices and a new boardroom, named the Armitage Suite.
The Armitage Suite is a tribute to Peter Armitage, a non-executive director at Adventoris and founding partner of Key Capital Partners, who passed away in March 2023.
Peter was one of the original investors in the company and has contributed significantly to the business over the years.

Located on St Thomas’ Road in Huddersfield, Folly Hall Mills is a Grade II* listed building originally constructed in the 1820s by Huddersfield builder, Joseph Kaye, who was the man behind many of Huddersfield’s iconic buildings, including the railway station and the George Hotel. The mill was rebuilt in 1844 after a fire.
The site has hosted a number of traders over the years, most notably the internationally acclaimed worsted yarn company, Joseph Lumb & Co, which is responsible for the creation of the Golden Bale medal, an accreditation for worsted yarn that is now an international standard.
As well as having a rich heritage in Huddersfield, the site also has a personal connection with our CEO James Clarkson, whose wife’s grandmother used to work on the looms there.
Speaking of the news, Mr Clarkson said: “We’ve had another fantastic year and this is a move that will help take Adventoris to the next level.
“It will solidify our place in the market, allowing us the space and opportunity to grow and develop the team and offering, while continuing to be a part of the wonderful Huddersfield business community.
“Folly Hall Mills is the ideal site for us continue growing as we look ahead to further global expansion this year.
“I am proud that we can include a tribute to Peter in our new space, through the Armitage Suite. Peter was a huge part of the business and is greatly missed.

SwiftCloud are nominated in the Small Tech Company of the Year category and also the SaaS Company of the Year.

SwiftCloud joins Yorkshire Tech Climbers Shortlist 2023
SwiftCloud are delighted to join a host of other Yorkshire based tech companies on the official ‘Yorkshire Tech Climbers shortlist 2023’
Tech Climbers is a regional shortlist created in conjunction with BusinessCloud and TechBlast which highlights top-performing, IP-rich, product-led technology businesses.
Tech Climbers’ aim is to spotlight scaling tech businesses around the UK and SwiftCloud’s External Business Development Managers, James De Jong and Ben Rafila joined fellow tech businesses at the 2023 shortlist event which was held on the 27th June at the Doubletree Hilton hotel in Leeds.
The shortlist saw more than 60 entries from tech businesses from across the region enter the awards, which were then judged by a panel of experts against the following criteria:

SwiftCloud have launched their first ever multi-supplier app for the British Independent Retailers Association (Bira) on its ecommerce platform.
The multi-supplier app, which is also a first for Bira, will offer Bira customers the opportunity to shop from multiple suppliers within its membership in one location, including STAX, Draper Tools, LG Harris and many others.
Established in 1899, Bira is the leading trade association for independent retailers in the UK and works with over 6,000 independent businesses of all sizes.

SwiftCloud has signed a partnership deal with global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) expert, Vision 33, as it moves towards a fully integrated future for the brand.
We have also appointed former tennis pro and FMCG expert, Matthew Pinel, as our first ever head of partnerships to oversee our growing partnership programme.
Vision 33, a SAP Gold Partner, is one of the largest implementation partners for SAP Business One and SAP ByDesign business software for growing businesses and subsidiaries of large enterprises.
Pinel, a former tennis pro and coach, has worked in FMCG management for the last 10 years in Australia for the likes of Emma and Tom’s, and Gamekeepers.
The partnership will see Vision 33 offering SwiftCloud, to its clientele as a fully integrated solution, helping firms to streamline their operations through automation and boost efficiency. Two of our current clients are already reaping the rewards of the partnership, with AFAK Trading and AR Wholesale both being onboarded.

SwiftCloud has welcomed six new staff and 28 new clients in its tenth year of trading as the B2B ecommerce solution continues to revolutionise B2B ecommerce ordering.
Among the six new hires are internal business development managers, Brooke Roberts, Jacob Bates and William Power. As well as external business development manager Ben Rafila, customer support Marcus Severin-Lelitte and Hayden Redmond the latest member of the marketing team.
